CAS Project Reflection (Joel)

Our group started out being the one with the least members of 3,
until Nicolette joined us in completion of this project.
We didn't start out as early as the others,
and only realised that it actually is a long and tedious project compared to other module's projects.
When we started out, we didn't progress much.
However after much reading up on the ACCPAC tutorial book,
and recalling of the weekly submissions of ACCPAC tutorials to vbus,
we managed to cope better.

Vicknesh contributed the most of his time and efforts into the completion of this project,
keying in transactions,
setting up modules and also helped us out when we faced difficulties,
while HongChit entered the GL data entries from the transactions and assisted us in other areas.
Nicolette was in charge of mainly the theory parts,
while i did the transactions from the APS and helped out in other aspects.
Still, without the help of our other coursemates in times of difficulties,
i'm sure we wouldn't learn as much as we did during the time we spent doing the project..
many thanks (:

That aside, i feel that my groupmates including myself have learnt the importance and efficiency of computer systems that allow accounting procedures to be recorded and interpreted in a much more organised and systematic way,
as demonstrated along our time spent completing the project with the ACCPAC.
It has been a great exposure (:
